Born in 1984 and graduated from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts de Paris, from the Villa Arson in Nice and from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie of Amsterdam, Simon Zagari built his work based on observation, feeding his gaze on artistic history but also on objects , facts and gestures that surround us every day. Applying side-by-side the elements resulting from his observations, he encourages the spectator to reconstruct the object he has in front of him, in an archaeological approach.
